ARLINGTON, Texas — 24 teams remain. 12 will hoist a trophy. And it all unfolds in AT&T Stadium.
From Wednesday to Saturday, 24 teams will compete for UIL State championships. There's a potential for DFW dominance this year — nine of the 24 competing teams are located in North Texas. Here's a look at the games:

6A-D1 UIL State Championship
North Crowley and Westlake will compete for the 6A-D1 state championship on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 7 p.m.
6A-D2 UIL State Championship
Southlake Carroll and Vandegrift will compete for the 6A-D2 state championship on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 3 p.m.
5A-D1 UIL State Championship
Smithson Valley will play Highland Park for the 5A-D1 state championship on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 11 a.m.
5A-D2 UIL State Championship
South Oak Cliff and Randle will compete for the 5A-D2 state championship on Friday, Dec. 20 at 7 p.m.
4A-D1 UIL State Championship
Celina and Kilgore will compete for the 4A-D1 state championship on Friday, Dec. 20 at 3 p.m.
4A-D2 UIL State Championship
La Vega and Carthage will compete for the 4A-D2 state championship on Friday, Dec. 20 at 11 a.m.
3A-D1 UIL State Championship
Malakoff and Columbus will compete for the 3A-D1 state championship on Thursday, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m.

Gunter and Woodville will compete for the 3A-D2 state championship on Thursday, Dec. 19 at 3 p.m.

Ganado and Stamford will compete for the 2A-D1 state championship on Thursday, Dec. 19 at 11 a.m.
