SAN ANTONIO — Three in a row!
Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy completed their three peat on Saturday, beating Silsbee (29-9) in the 4A State Championship game, 80-66. The Eagles have been to six straight UIL State tournaments (semifinals and finals) and have now won three consecutive state titles. Isaac Williams also went 14-of-14 from the floor to break a 38-year-old record for shooting percentage in all conferences and capture MVP honors.
This season's state title run has come on the heels of a 18-11 regular season, with a 8-0 district record.
The Eagles was grouped in a division with other prep schools in Texas – in 4A Region II District 12 – including North Hills Prep, Hampton Prep, Williams Prep and Summit International Prep.
For the next two seasons, though, Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy moved up to 5A and was grouped with Dallas ISD schools: W.H. Adamson High School, Hillcrest High School, Thomas Jefferson High School, Moisés E. Molina High School, South Oak Cliff High School, Sunset High School and W. T. White High School.
Oak Cliff Faith Family now has four total state championships: 2019, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
