Frisco's highly rated 6-8 sophomore forward P.J. Washington is transferring to national basketball power Findlay Prep in Nevada according to reports.
Washington is considered the No. 15 player in the nation for the Class of 2017 according to rivals.com. Attending Lone Star, Washington already has offers from Arizona, Baylor, Connecticut, Oklahoma State, SMU, Texas and Texas A&M among many others.
USAToday's Jason Jordan said Washington's father said P.J. would be enrolled Thursday at Findlay, which is based outside Las Vegas but plays a national, traveling schedule. Former Arlington resident Avery Bradley, who plays for the Boston Celtics after a season at Texas, played for Findlay as well as a bevy of top talent including former Texas star TristanThompson.
Washington would join a roster ranked No. 6 by USA Today. Findlay already includes heralded junior point guard Derryck Thornton, Jr., UNLV 6-8 guard commit Justin
Jackson, Auburn 6-8 forward commit Horace Spencer III and newcomer Allonzo Trier, an Arizona commit who averaged 24.9 points a game last season at Montrose Christian (Kevin Durant's alma mater in Maryland).
