DALLAS — The Dallas Baptist University Baseball team is headed to its tenth consecutive NCAA Tournament after securing the 2024 Conference USA Championship.

DBU sits among four other consistent programs that have made the tournament every year since 2014: Oklahoma State, Florida, LSU and Vanderbilt.

Now, the Patriots have been placed in the Tucson Regional as the second seed.

To kick things off, DBU will play West Virginia on Friday at 2 p.m. while Arizona takes on Grand Canyon at 4 p.m.

"We are excited about another chance for our players to experience postseason play," Head Coach Dan Heefner stated. "Our goal is to be playing our best baseball at the end of the season and we will continue to work toward that goal, even as we prepare for Regional Play."

DBU completed the season with an overall record of 44-13, the third-highest win total in the country.

Along the way, the Patriots defeated numerous Power 5 schools including Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Arizona and Alabama.

Their first opponent, West Virginia, finished fourth in the Big 12 with an overall record of 33-22.
