“I’ve watched him survive a heart attack, a stroke, a pulmonary embolism, two very bad infections and now I’m watching his kidneys slowly failing,” Margaret said of her husband of 12 years.

Jack is an Air Force veteran.

He relies on a scooter to get around which means his backyard is inaccessible.

“We’ve had this house for seven and a half years. He’s only been out in the backyard twice,” Margaret said.

They have several dogs and cats and Jack can’t go out and watch them play.

Margaret nominated her husband for a Little Wish and the couple will receive a new deck surface for the yard, a gift card to cover the installation cost, and tickets to see WrestleMania in Dallas in April.

“She’s my everything,” he said of his wife. “She takes care of me from morning to night. I’d be lost without her.”

Margaret said she feels the same way about him and that was the reason she contacted Little Wishes.

“I wish I could have done something for him on my own, but we just couldn’t afford it,” she said.
