DALLAS — The total solar eclipse passed directly over North Texas April 8, and people flocked outside to watch the once-in-a-lifetime event.
The last time North Texas was directly in the path of a total solar eclipse was in 1878, and it won’t happen again until 2317.
WFAA and our viewers documented the phenomenon from when the partial eclipse began to when the eclipse passed over North Texas.
