FORT WORTH -- A 32-year-old mother has filed a lawsuit after she said a massage therapist inappropriately touched her during a June massage at the Fort Worth Omni Hotel.
In the lawsuit, the woman lists a point-by-point breakdown of the alleged incident, including that the therapist "exposed" the woman's buttocks and vagina so he could look at them.
In an interview on Monday, the woman told News 8 the man touched her in her crotch.
"He goes up to my private parts and pats it fast with two or three fingers," she said. "He did that three times."
News 8 agreed not to reveal her identity because of the nature of the allegations.
Fort Worth police say a detective on the case is preparing to issue a citation for assault by bodily contact, a misdemeanor.
The woman says the man also placed something plastic between her legs during one part of the massage when her eyes were covered.
"I think it was camera," she said. The lawsuit mentions a possible cellphone.
When asked why she didn't insist on leaving the room when she felt uncomfortable, she said she felt paralyzed with fear.
"I mean what to do? If I try to hit him or something, what would he do?" she said.
The hotel declined comment on Monday because of the ongoing investigation.
News 8 reached out the man listed in the lawsuit but didn't hear back. Since police haven't yet charged him, News 8 isn't identifying him at this time.
The woman and her attorney, Robert Luttrell, want to see surveillance footage from inside the spa's hallways for the time in question.
They say that will also show the therapist emerged from the massage room after the woman.
She says she was forced to slip into a robe "fully naked" in front of him, according to the lawsuit, because he wouldn't leave the room.
The investigation is ongoing.
