Suspect shot man at QuikTrip gas station, Dallas police say

Police are seeking information on a suspect who shot a man at a QuikTrip gas station.

DALLAS — Police released a surveillance photo of a suspect in a shooting at a QuikTrip in the hope someone can help identify him.

The suspect and another man got into a verbal fight around 4:15 p.m. Wednesday at a QuikTrip at 4767 South R.L. Thornton Freeway, near East Ledbetter Road in the Red Bird neighborhood, Dallas police said. 

While the man was leaving, the suspect confronted him and shot him and then fled. The shooting victim's condition is unknown at this time. 

Police describe the shooting suspect as a black man between the ages of 18 and 25, wearing a black T-shirt with a white design. He had a white band on his right wrist and wore shorts with reflective material on the side.
