Ouch.
Video taken in the Austin area captured the moment a Dallas man was thrown from a water slide and onto the rocky ground below.
David Salmon posted the video on his Facebook page. As of 8 p.m. Monday, 10 hours after it was posted, the video was shared more than 550 times.
"Too dang old to be going down water slides," he wrote. "Fell off this one that is over a rocky cliff."
The video, which was recorded by Danny Cummings, a friend of Salmon, shows Salmon try to use his arm to slow down as he reaches a curve. However, it wasn't enough to stop him and his body was thrown over the side. It's unclear how big of a fall it was from the slide onto the ground.
Salmon said he was transported to a Round Rock hospital by ambulance and suffered a broken arm, fractured ribs, and lacerations across his body.
"Just found out I don't need surgery so that's good news!" he wrote. "One more night in Austin then I can go home to Dallas."
Apparently, he was able to keep his sense of humor in tact, ending his post with five hashtags, "#waterslide #fail #failvideo #brokenarm #notdead."
It's unclear exactly where the slide is located.
