DALLAS — The Senate race between Sen. Ted Cruz and Democratic challenger Colin Allred is heating up, and the two candidates' first face-to-face encounter will come on WFAA.
At 7 p.m. on Oct. 15, "The Texas Debate" between the two candidates will take place at WFAA's studio, and it will be broadcasted across Texas. Three weeks before Election Day, it will be the only debate between the incumbent Cruz and Allred, his Democrat opponent.
In addition to airing on WFAA, the debate will be livestreamed on the WFAA+ app. The streaming app is available for download on Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire, as well as on iPhone and Android.
Coverage on WFAA+ will start at 3 p.m. that day on WFAA+, and there will also be analysis immediately following the debate. Also, WFAA.com will have live coverage and recaps of the debate, as well as additional context and background on each candidate and their stances for their campaign.
