FORT WORTH, Texas — The Republican primary in the race to replace longtime Fort Worth Congresswoman Kay Granger appears headed for a runoff.
As of Wednesday morning, Craig Goldman had earned 44% of the vote, comfortably more than John C. O'Shea's 26%, but not enough to avoid a runoff in the U.S. House District 12 primary.
Goldman and O'Shea would square off in the runoff on Tuesday, May 28.
Granger is leaving the District 12 seat at the end of her term in January.
Goldman led the crowded Republican field, which also included Clint Dorris earning 15% of the vote.
