A monkey bit a girl that was holding him in a Terrell Buc-ee's and then disappeared with his owner on Friday.
Terrell Animal Adpotion Center has identified the owner and animal and are in contact with Terrell Police authorities.
Previously, the owner and monkey had left the store before police could make contact with them and their whereabouts was unknown.
