ARLINGTON, Texas — The Dallas Cowboys can seemingly never catch a break -- or a football in the sun

On Friday night, Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions are hosting a huge boxing event for the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight at AT&T Stadium. And to give attendees and fighters the best experience, the curtains have been drawn for the evening.

That makes sense, right? No one wants a rogue light source throwing off a fighter’s jab. But fans on X (formerly Twitter) couldn’t resist pointing out the irony. After all, just last week, Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb missed a wide-open touchdown because the sun decided to play defense.

So, while the boxers get a glare-free ring, Cowboys fans are left wondering: where were these curtains when they needed them most?

When asked about the potential for curtains after the Cowboys' loss to the Eagles last Sunday, Jones responded, sarcastically.

"Well let's tear the damn stadium down and build another one," Jones told reporters. "Everybody has got the same thing. Every team that comes in here has the same issues."

So, if you're feeling a bit confused as to why these curtains can't be put up for Cowboys' games -- it's okay, you're not alone. The world may never know.
