WASHINGTON — The Democratic National Convention heads into its second day Tuesday as the party's attention pivots toward Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

Former President Barack Obama, Michelle Obama and second gentleman Doug Emhoff are headlining the second night in the United Center. The theme for the night is "A Bold Vision for America's Future."

Biden won’t be in the hall to see his former running mate speak, as he departed Chicago after delivering his own speech on Monday night.
