Irving police rescue teen in sex trafficking operation, 2 suspects arrested

Destiny Hansford and Dominique Parks were arrested on felony trafficking charges.

IRVING, Texas — Irving police arrested two people accused of sex trafficking a 15-year-old who had been missing since April.

Dominique Parks, 29, faces four felony charges of sexual assault of a child, human trafficking of a child, compelling prostitution and promotion of child pornography. 

Destiny Hansford, 20, was arrested on two felony charges of human trafficking of a child and compelling prostitution.

The teenager's mother called police May 2 after seeing that her daughter's email address was being used to sell sex. Her mother said the teenager had been missing since April 19, according to Irving police. 

The mother had been monitoring her daughter's email account and discovered it been accessed in Irving, police said.

Parks and Hansford would advertise sexual services on websites while moving the teenager from motel room to motel room. 

Parks remains in the Irving city jail in lieu of $275,560 bail. Hansford remains in the Dallas County jail in lieu of $60,000 bail. She is also being held on a possession of a controlled substance charge from Harris County.
