FRISCO, Texas — A McKinney cyclist who was struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning has been taken off life support, Frisco police said in a statement Wednesday.
Joseph Orzo, 35, was traveling southbound in the 10100 block of Independence Parkway in Frisco when he was struck from behind by a vehicle traveling in the same direction at about 5 a.m. Orzo was transported to a Frisco hospital in critical condition. He was taken off life support and declared dead four days later.
Frisco police said the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and has been cooperating with police as an investigation into the incident continues.
