Texas resident wins $5 million in lottery scratch ticket game

TEAGUE, Texas — A Teague resident recently won $5 million in the Texas Lottery scratch ticket game $5,000,000 Ultimate.

The player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought the winning ticket at a Jet Travel Plaza store at 771 Texas Highway 179 in Teague, according to Texas Lottery. Teague is in Freestone County, about an hour and a half southeast of Dallas.

The winning ticket was the second of four top prizes worth $5 million to be claimed in the game. That ticket was claimed by a North Texas resident from Haslet in May, who bought it at a Mighty Convenience store in Fort Worth.

The $5,000,000 Ultimate game offers more than $399.2 million in total prizes. The overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.64, including break-even prizes.
