ARLINGTON, Texas — The Arlington Police Department is investigating a crash that left a 36-year-old woman dead on Friday, July 5.

According to police, officers responded to the 2200 block of Northwest Green Oaks Boulevard to the report of a car striking a concrete structure head-on.

Police say when officers arrived, they discovered that the woman was driving a Jeep Cherokee southbound in the inside lane when it veered right, across all lanes and left the road.

According to police, the car hit a guide wire for an electrical pole and then hit a concrete structure head-on.
