RICHARDSON, Texas — Police have in custody a man accused of stabbing his girlfriend.
Jeffrey Lee Patterson, 46, was arrested in connection to the stabbing of 48-year-old LaDonna Garcia.
Officers were called on the morning of April 14 to a report of stabbing at 410 Rustic Circle. LaDonna Garcia, 48, was found stabbed. She was sent to Medical City Dallas Hospital, where she later died.
According to officials, Patterson admitted that they had been doing methamphetamine that night and gave conflicting stories about what had happened.
Patterson was transferred to Dallas County.
