JUSTIN, Texas — Many residents in and around the City of Justin were without running water following a water main break Tuesday morning, city officials said.
The city sent out a message to residents just before 11 a.m. alerting them to a citywide water outage.
They said the water main break happened at FM 156 and Hardeman Blvd when a contractor hit a 12-inch line which resulted in the outage.
As of 3:30 p.m., the city told WFAA that the water should be restored by now.
"Water crews are flushing hydrants now to remove air from water mains. You may experience a delay in water flow, or water coming in and out, this is due to air in the lines," the city said in a statement.
