MCKINNEY, Texas — A deal is a deal -- and two elementary school principals with McKinney ISD made sure to follow through with the one they made with their respective schools.

Frazier Elementary Principal Amy Holderman and Webb Elementary Principal Karime Terrazas both promised the students at their schools that if they were able to meet fundraising goals, they would jump out of an airplane -- with a parachute on of course.

According to Holderman, Frazier Elementary surpassed its goal of $75,000 by raising $78,000. Terrazas said Webb Elementary was able to smash its goal of $10,000 by raising $24,000.

So, with the students doing their part, it was now time for the two principals to complete their end of the deal.

"Our words really do matter and our commitment matters," Terrazas said before making the leap. "What we say we're gonna do, we gotta do."

Despite some nerves, Holderman and Terrazas were able to get through the high-flying thrill.

"I'm terrified," Holderman said before she jumped. "But, to be able to say, 'Yeah, we did that for our students and our school communities' means everything to me, so I will absolutely conquer my fears by doing this because you helped us be here today."

After the jump, both principals were asked if they were ready to go again, to which Holderman replied with an enthusiastic yes -- Terrazas, on the other hand, appeared to be elated the deal was over and done with.
