Two young girls were rescued from Lake Waxahachie Saturday afternoon, city officials said.
One of the girls was listed in critical condition Saturday night.
The two girls, ages 3 and 5, were not breathing when they were pulled from the water around 2 p.m., officials told News 8. Paramedics were able to perform CPR and both children were taken to a local hospital in an unknown condition.
Officials had not provided details on how long the children were in the lake.
Names of the children were not released.
