FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth Police say a FedEx truck driver was shot on Wednesday while traveling westbound on I-30 between Alta Mere Drive and Ridglea Avenue in Fort Worth.
Police say the driver was shot in the shoulder at 12:35 p.m. and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Police didn’t provide any details about a possible suspect and are investigating the shooting.
"The safety and security of our team members is always our top priority. We are working closely with law enforcement as they investigate, and we are focused on the well-being of our team member," FedEx said in a statement. "As this is an ongoing investigation, we ask you to direct additional questions to the investigating authorities."
