MESQUITE, Texas — Mesquite police say three people were taken into custody Friday after a lengthy pursuit that started at Town East Mall in Mesquite and ended in Dallas.
Mesquite police say two people suspected of stealing about $1,000 worth of merchandise from the Dick’s Sporting Goods store at the Town East Mall fled the store in a vehicle, at which point officers began pursuit.
The vehicle became disabled in the area of Dallas Love Field, police say, and three occupants were taken into custody.
Police say the suspect vehicle swiped another vehicle in Dallas during the pursuit, and Dallas police were notified and worked that crash.
