BEDFORD, Texas — Bedford police say three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday in the 2600 block of State Highway 183 between the Central Drive and Bedford Road exits.
Police responded to the scene shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday and say two people from one of the vehicles were taken to area hospitals with serious injuries and the sole occupant of the other vehicle was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Police say the cause of the crash remains under investigation and the westbound lanes of State Highway 183 at Central Drive will be closed for the next several hours with traffic diverted off the highway at the Central Drive exit, then back on after the Central Drive intersection. Officers are on scene to help with traffic flow.
