DALLAS — Need to renew your license before the end of the year? The Texas Department of Public Safety is offering Saturday appointments at some North Texas driver’s license offices.
Saturday appointments are available at six North Texas driver’s license offices from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 12 and Oct. 26. To schedule an appointment, click here.
Here are the locations:
- Garland
- Dallas South
- Fort Worth
- Lake Worth
- Carrollton
- Denton
The appointments are available for people to renew or replace their driver’s licenses. Appointments for new Texas resident driver’s licenses or identification card renewal or replacement may also be available depending on location. Texas DPS offered Saturday appointments last month, and they filled up fast, but the no-show rate for those appointments was 30%, according to DPS.
