BOSQUE COUNTY, Texas — Texas isn't exactly known for its mountainous terrain, unless you head far enough southwest.
The Hill Country provides plenty of rolling landscape, and a new ranch property for sale between Dallas and Austin is evidence of just that.
The 282-acre Bosque Mountain Ranch, also known as Round Mountain Ranch, is hitting the market for $19.9 million, according to Icon Global, the Dallas-based brokerage firm that specializes in ranch sales.
Icon announced the ranch earlier this summer, but it officially has a listing price now.
Bosque Mountain Ranch is located about 10 minutes west of Clifton in Bosque County, which sits about an hour and a half south of Dallas and two hours north of Austin.
The property has a nearly 1,000-foot elevation peak.
Icon is touting the property as an "idyllic opportunity for an incredible private family retreat," with nearly 15,000 square feet of living and entertainment space: A 6,900-square-foot house, a 4,200-square-foot pool house, and a 3,550-square-foot living and entertainment space above an equestrian barn.
The main house features two master bedroom suites and two additional bedrooms, while the pool house has a game room, dance floor, full bar and two large bunkrooms with 16 double-sized bunk beds.
The ranch also features a "sports shack" for skeet shooting and a fishing cabin.
The property is marked by a large, wooded hill, giving the ranch its Bosque Mountain name.
The Dallas Morning News reported the property belongs to longtime Dallas real estate executive Randy Cooper.
