BLUM, Texas — A 780-acre piece of property carved out of Texas -- quite literally -- has been sold.

Northwest Hill County's Brazos Bluff Ranch, which was listed for $11.9 million, is now off the market, according to Dallas-based broker Icon Global.

The buyer's name was not disclosed.

The property sits along more than 3,500 feet of the Brazos River, which cuts through cliffs and canyons that include a 200-foot elevation change, according to Icon's listing.

The ranch, on the Brazos River's Willow Kimball Bend, is about 18 miles from the south of the Cleburne Regional Airport and hour south of DFW.

"The property offers a breathtaking panorama of the beginning of the Texas Hill Country, which would make an ideal location for a homesite overlooking the western sunsets of the river bend," the listing said.

The listing also touted the ranch's canopy of cedar, mixed oaks, pecan and mesquite trees; two water wells and multiple stock ponds; and variety of wildlife, including whitetail deer, hogs and turkey.

The property is also home to a hunters' cabin.
