A man was seriously injured Tuesday morning after falling inside the clock tower at the Tarrant County courthouse in downtown Fort Worth.
He was working on the clock tower when he fell about 15 feet, according to the Fort Worth Fire Department. Firefighters, who were called to the courthouse in the 100 block of East Weatherford Street about 9:40 a.m., rescued the man.
The department's high-angle rescue crew used a rope system to lower the man more than 40 feet to safety.
He was stable but in serious condition, officials said.
