FORT WORTH, Texas — The westbound lanes of I-20 will be closed at the U.S. 287 interchange in Tarrant County this weekend for construction.
Specifically, westbound I-20 will be closed at the U.S. 287 interchange from 11 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday. Traffic will be detoured to the U-turn at Sublett Road.
Officials are advising drivers to take alternate routes while the construction work is underway.
Officials say the speed limit has also been reduced to 55 mph throughout the Southeast Connector corridor.
The Southeast Connector project consists of about 16 miles of non-tolled work to I-20 from Forest Hill Drive to Little Road, to I-820 from I-20 to Brentwood Stair Road, and to U.S. 287 from Bishop Street to Sublett Road.
