ARLINGTON, Texas — A 22-year-old UT-Arlington student was found dead at her apartment Thursday night, according to police.

The Arlington Police Department (APD) said officers responded to an apartment complex in the 1000 block of UTA Boulevard after a female student was found unresponsive in her room by a friend. Police said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said they do not suspect foul play or drugs.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office publicly identified her as Jolie Rugwiza, police said. According to APD, Rugwiza had known health conditions that may have contributed to her death, but the official cause of her death remained unknown Friday morning, which would be determined by the medical examiner.

No more information was immediately available.
