FORT WORTH, Texas — A man was hospitalized in critical condition after being run over by a pickup truck in a parking lot in Fort Worth late Sunday, police say.
The crash happened in a parking lot in the 1700 block of Handley Drive shortly after 11:30 p.m. The man was lying in the parking lot at the time, according to police.
The man who was run over was taken to a hospital in critical condition but is expected to survive, police say. He wasn't identified.
Investigators tracked the truck to an address nearby and detained a “person of interest,” police say.
Fort Worth Police Department’s Traffic Investigation Unit is investigating and will determine whether or not any charges will be filed.
