SAGINAW, Texas — First responders received a call about a possible explosion at about noon Thursday at a home in Saginaw, near Fort Worth.
The garage door had been blown off, landing next to the driveway.
WFAA spoke with neighbors who did not want to go on camera but were present at the time of the fire.
Neighbors said there were two men working on the kitchen inside the home. No one else was there. That is when the fire began.
Many residents said they did not hear an explosion, but they did see MedStar help the two men. MedStar said they are in good condition.
First responders said the Tarrant County Fire Marshal is handling the investigation.
The Forth Worth Fire Department assisted as well as the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office, who helped with traffic control.
Neighbors said crews put the fire out fairly quickly and are thankful it did not spread.
WFAA has reached out to Tarrant County Fire Marshal’s Office but have not heard back as of Thursday afternoon.
