Body pulled out of Trinity River, Fort Worth police say

Officers were dispatched at 7:14 a.m. July 2, to the Trinity River near North Main and North Commerce Street.

FORT WORTH, Texas — A body was pulled out of the Trinity River in Fort Worth on Tuesday, police said. 

Officers were dispatched at 7:14 a.m., July 2 to North Main and North Commerce streets, according to Fort Worth police. A white male was found floating in the Trinity River there, police said in a statement. 

Homicide detectives were notified of the incident, according to the statement. Police did not release the name of the victim and the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause of death.
