FORT WORTH, Texas — A Fort Worth police corporal turned himself in this week on a warrant for terroristic threat of a household member, the department confirmed.

Fort Worth Police Corporal Brandon Parker turned himself in for the warrant from the Fort Worth Police Department Tuesday, officials say.

The Fort Worth Police Department says their internal affairs unit began an administrative investigation after learning of Parker’s arrest. Parker was placed on restricted duty and “stripped of all police powers” as administrative and criminal investigations are ongoing, police say.

Parker has been with the Fort Worth Police Department for seven years and was assigned to the patrol bureau at the time of his arrest, according to a news release.
