Body pulled from North Texas lake, police say

The name of the victim has not been released, and the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office has not revealed the cause of death yet.

FORT WORTH, Texas — Forth Worth police are investigating after recovering a body from Lake Como Monday afternoon.

Just before 1:30 p.m., officers arrived at the 3400 block of Lake Como Drive after receiving a call about a body in the water. 

When authorities arrived at the scene, they found a body floating in the lake near Lake Como Park.

The Fort Worth Fire Department dive team arrived shortly after and recovered the body from the water. They also determined the person was dead.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as 23-year-old Brandon Glenn Fields. They have not revealed the cause of death yet.

Fort Worth PD said it will continue investigating the incident's circumstances, and Homicide detectives have been notified.
