The bodies of two fishermen have been recovered from the Trinity River in Fort Worth, according to MedStar emergency medical service.

Two men in their 20s were fishing in the river when they went into the water near the Tarrant County College Trinity River Campus. Fort Worth Police received a call about the possible drowning at 7:25 a.m. Saturday.

The Tarrant County medical examiner later identified the victims as Angel Ibarra, 23, and Eduardo Cortina Mares, 21. Both victims' place of death was listed as "spillway damn of the Trinity River."

A 911 caller told police he or she heard a yell and saw the men go into the water.
