FORT WORTH, Texas — Deputies said alcohol may have played a role in a crash that injured a Tarrant County Sheriff deputy overnight Friday.
A deputy was working in the 9400 block of Jacksboro Highway in northwest Fort Worth when a driver rear-ended the deputy's vehicle. It happened at about 3:30 a.m.
She sustained neck injuries and was sent to a hospital. The driver had "non-life-threatening" injuries and was also sent to the hospital.
Our officer was released from the hospital with minor injuries.
Officials said the deputy was treated and released from the hospital Friday morning.
