FORT WORTH, Texas — Anna Menon just took TCU to another level, literally.
The TCU alum, who graduated from the Fort Worth university in 2008, was on the SpaceX Polaris Dawn launch Tuesday, making her the "first Horned Frog in space," the school posted on social media.
The four-person flight is aimed at conducting the first private spacewalk in history, according to Space.com. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said the Polaris flight is going to an altitude three times higher than the International Space Station, the furthest humans have been from Earth in more than 50 years.
