FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Police Department is warning people about a small sinkhole on the southwest side of town.
It's on South Bois D Arc Street near College Street, which is near the Forney ISD Administration building.
The Forney PD and the fire department responded to the scene to set up barricades and placed a cone over the hole. The department said the road is closed throughout the weekend as crews work to repair it.
Although it is small in size, crews will work to determine the extent of any damage to the underground infrastructure.
The cause of the sinkhole has not yet been determined.
