GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas — Nine people were rescued after being stuck on a North Texas roller coaster for hours, witnesses say.
Grand Prairie Fire Department confirmed that they rescued nine people from a roller coaster ride at Traders Village on Saturday.
According to witnesses, the roller coaster broke down, and the people onboard were stuck suspended in the air. Video from the scene shows the rescue from GPFD. Crews had to rappel up the coaster and bring passengers down one-by-one.
All nine passengers were able to be rescued safely.
