32-year-old killed after car crashes into their vehicle on U.S. 75 in Richardson, police say

Police were diverting traffic off the highway to Spring Valley Road, as all northbound lanes had to be shut down.

RICHARDSON, Texas — A 32-year-old was killed in a crash on northbound U.S. 75 in Richardson early Monday, police said.

The incident happened around 1:15 a.m. near Belt Line Road, where initially the driver of a northbound Lexus struck the center concrete divider on the highway.

The driver and the passenger got out of the vehicle. A second crash then happened when the driver of a Honda sedan struck the Lexus, causing it to spin into the passenger who was out of the vehicle.

The Lexus passenger, who was identified as Abed-Isaac Pierre, of Florida, was killed at the scene, police said.

The drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
