FORT WORTH, Texas — The Fort Worth Police Department said it is investigating a crash that left one passenger dead Saturday afternoon.
According to Fort Worth PD, officers responded to the 100 block of Southwest Loop 820 around 12:39 p.m. to a report that a car that had flipped over was on fire.
Police said Fort Worth Fire and medical personnel arrived at the scene and confirmed that one passenger was dead and trapped in the car.
According to Fort Worth PD, the cause of the crash is being investigated at this time by the traffic department.
The identity of the passenger killed has not been released.
