DALLAS — A person was shot Wednesday afternoon across from Skyline High School and taken to a local hospital in unknown condition by Dallas Fire-Rescue, police say.
Police responded to a shooting call in the 7900 block of Chariot Drive shortly before 4 p.m. Wednesday.
“There are no active incidents at any Dallas ISD school currently. However, we are hearing there is an incident at an apartment complex across the street from one of our schools, and are trying to learn more, but again, this is not at a campus,” a Dallas ISD spokesperson said.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
