FORT WORTH, Texas — The Fort Worth Police Department said it is searching for a suspect who attacked and robbed a passenger on a Trinity Metro bus on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
According to a Facebook post from the department, at about 2:40 p.m. that day, a robbery took place on a Trinity Metro bus along East Lancaster Avenue.
Police said that when the bus stopped at 2268 Handley Drive, the suspect, who was sitting in the back of the bus, approached the victim and grabbed their cell phone.
According to FWPD, a struggle ensued and the suspect physically assaulted the victim and took the phone before exiting the bus.
Police ask anyone with information about the incident or the suspect to call the department.
