'I am brave' | Wednesday's Child 7-year-old Brooklyn needs a family to adopt her and support her relationship with her siblings

Brooklyn has two biological siblings whom she loves, but they will all be adopted separately.

IRVING, Texas — Today's Wednesday's Child is a little girl who is full of light, and joy and is in search of a loving family to adopt her.

But she only has one special request - to stay in touch with her two biological siblings.

Jumping, swinging, and flipping!

There was nothing 7-year-old Brooklyn didn't try during her adventure at Ground Control Trampoline Park in Irving.

"From the moment you meet Brooklyn you love Brooklyn. She's just a spitfire and full of personality and love," said her Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Jackie Schrodel.

Brooklyn has been in foster care for 3 years. She does well in her foster home and is a bundle of energy and hope.

"I am brave," she said.

She repeats positive things to herself all the time. Before she tries something hard, she motivates herself with four words.

"I can do this," she whispered.

Brooklyn has learned to be tough because she has to be. She has two biological siblings whom she loves, but they will all be adopted separately.

It was double the fun for Brooklyn as she got to visit with her sister and brother while at the trampoline park.

"Abi and Junior are the best brother and sister in the whole wide world. I never could imagine that I had the greatest brother and sister," Brooklyn said proudly.

"Between CPS and CASA we've all tried really hard to work as a team to keep them close you know as a family," said Schrodel.

She says while all three children will be adopted separately, it's imperative Brooklyn gets to see them.

"Where she can continue to do her sibling visits because they are very, very close the three of them. They're just not gonna be placed together."

Brooklyn talked a lot about her siblings and mentioned how much she enjoys school.

"I get to learn. I get to go outside at the end of the day and play with my friends," she said.

Mainly, Brooklyn just wanted to uplift her favorite people.

"Abi is sweet and Junior is nice," she said of her brother and sister.

"Abi is the best sister I could imagine!"

If a forever family builds up Brooklyn the way she does her siblings, it's going to be a match made in heaven.

"She's tough. An amazing little girl," said Schrodel.

An amazing little girl who will jump right into your heart.

"She's adorable. I pray that she finds her forever home," Schrodel added.
