DALLAS — Wednesday’s Child 13-year-old Kenneth is a serious brainiac. He loves science, technology, engineering and math – which is why he had an amazing time at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.
"I like to smile," said Kenneth while actively smiling from ear-to-ear at the museum.
He was in his element.
"My shirt says brain power because I use most of my brain for most of everything," he said.
When asked what his brain is best at, Kenneth simply replied, "Electrical and mechanic."
He also believes it's in his blood to enjoy and understand mechanics.
"My dad was a normal mechanic, and my grandpa was too,” said Kenneth.
The study of mechanics speaks to his soul because it's fun to do and it's complex. Kenneth also told WFAA he wants to work for Tesla one day and build better cars – which shouldn’t be a problem for him. He catches on to information fast – real fast.
"I have a higher IQ than most kids, and also I'm great at math and science and mechanics,” he said.
When he's not geeking out on science, Kenneth likes to curl up with a good book.
"I read a lot," he said.
The Harry Potter series is one of his top choices. Can you guess his favorite character?
"Hermione. Because she's smart," he said.
He respects Hermione for being the smartest, but what he really wants is a parent who loves him unconditionally and without judgement the way Professor Dumbledore loved Harry.
"He accepted Harry like a son," said Kenneth.
He wants a loving forever family to adopt him and like Dumbledore, accept him.
"Family that sees the best in you and helps bring out the best,” said Kenneth.
He consumes his life with robots and mechanics, but he knows what love is.
"It's better than food technically," he said. "Also, it helps people feel better when they're sad."
Kenneth wants to feel the greatest force in the world.
"Love," he said without hesitation.
All he needs is the magical kind of person who will cherish and love him for exactly who he is!
