FORT WORTH, Texas — Today's Wednesday's Child is a girl who would typically never sing in front of a camera, but the set-up laid out for her was just too irresistible.
"My first name is Maria. I am 13. I like to explore," she said.
Maria who prefers to be called "Bella" is super talented and excited about finding her forever family.
WFAA took the 13-year-old for an adventure at the YMCA of Fort Worth. There was a recording studio inside that had all the bells and whistles.
"We've just been in the studio trying out some songs and making a few beats," said Bella. "I made a nice beat with an app that they had."
For a girl determined to leave her mark in this world, today was the kind of challenge Bella loves.
"I like to take things apart and take a look at them and see how they work from the inside. Then, I put them back together and see if I did a good job or not," she said.
Bella thinks like an engineer and to no surprise, she loves Math.
"It's weird but I like that all of the problems have a solid answer," she said.
Life isn't that easy, but Bella is always optimistic.
"I want to be with a family that helps me grow and is going in the same direction as me."
Bella dreams about a forever family who helps her with her schoolwork.
"I want to be able to do good academically and socially in school."
She wants parents who cheer her on, especially for being brave. She stepped out of her comfort zone by creating a song in the recording studio and singing it in front of a live audience.
"I just like to try new things and do different things," she said.
Bella did a great job!
"Thank you guys for your time," she said happy with her excellent performance.
Bella is kind, courageous and very thoughtful. The loving family who adopts her will find a song in her heart that is filled with joy and hope.
For more information on how to adopt Bella, contact the Heart Gallery of North Texas at 817-809-3440 or email them at hello@heartgallerynorthtexas.org. Please include Bella's (Maria's) name in the subject line.
