DALLAS — Today's Wednesday's Child dreams of being a paleontologist, but his biggest dream is to find a Forever Family.

Caleb is described as inquisitive, energetic, and sweet.

For a 10-year-old boy who is excited to study dinosaur fossils, Caleb's visit to the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas was epic.

"I got to clean off a real dinosaur bone and I got to see all these good dinosaurs. Seeing the dinosaurs here was cool," he said.

Working with dinosaur fossils is fun, but it's also hard work as Caleb found out firsthand. Yet, he told us he could work with dinosaur fossils all day.

"He's an amazing young man," said Sed Riazi. He is Caleb's Court Appointed Special Advocate, or CASA. Riazi says the right family for Caleb will appreciate his adventurous spirit.

"The ideal family would be someone who helps him to continue to explore the outdoors, and you know share his passion for dinosaurs and just help him along," Riazi said.

Riazi has been a constant in Caleb's life. When case workers and foster homes come and go, his CASA is still there no matter what.

"We go out to go fishing," said Caleb smiling.

Caleb is energetic and would thrive in a two-parent household where he is the only child.

"I want them to treat me good, and feed me good food, take care of me, and have a roof over my head," he said.

Caleb hopes his future forever family will help him to accomplish all his dreams, primarily the one to become a paleontologist. He says he will do whatever it takes to accomplish this goal.

"I'm gonna learn in school. I'm gonna be nice to my friends. Be nice to my teachers and all of them," he said.

Caleb's sweetness is his superpower, one his advocates hope a loving family will treasure.

"My hope for him is that he becomes an independent, productive young man. If he's on that path and just believes in himself and keeps that north star, I think he'll be all right," said Riazi.
