GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas — Christmas is rapidly approaching, meaning Christmas lights will again light up the night across North Texas.
Prairie Lights in Grand Prairie is one of the more well-known Christmas light parks around DFW, and this year, the park is offering a special promotion in partnership with WFAA's Santa's Helpers toy drive. This promotion is valid on Wednesday, Dec. 4 only.
The park, which opens Thursday and will remain open through Dec. 31, will cut $15 off the gate fee for any visitors who drop off a toy at the front gate of the park. That brings the price for general admission down from $50 to $35.
Santa's Helpers provides gifts to more than 50,000 children across North Texas. For more information on Santa's Helpers and how to help, click here.
